Accreditations

Academia and industry work towards achieving accreditation standards for products and services provided. To be granted a specified credential, the process includes completing a Self-Evaluation Report (SER), preparing for site visits and being compliant with current the accrediting standards.

There are national and regional accrediting organizations. Two examples include the Council of Higher Education (CHEA), or Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).
